Pay
We offer competitive salaries and commit to being a Living Wage employer. Our rates of pay compare favourably both locally and within the sector. For Teachers we pay 1% over agreed national payscales.

You’ll be eligible to join one of our employer pension contribution schemes, either:

Holiday
We offer a generous paid holiday entitlement in line with National Joint Council (NJC) terms and conditions of between 25-35 days (dependent on grade and length of service) in addition to statutory bank holidays throughout the year. Our holiday year runs from 1 September to 31 August.
Work/Life Balance
We adopt flexible working culture and practices committed to enabling employees to work flexibly, to be able to balance the demands of their role and organisational requirements with their personal circumstances.
We offer a scheme through which employees can formally apply for flexible working, including alterations to working hours, compressed hours or part-time working and job sharing.
Development and training
Following probation, our employees are supported to set professional and personal development goals through an annual appraisal cycle.
We offer a range of training opportunities for all employees including e-learning, face-to-face and virtual sessions, and workshops as well as online resources, secondment, and apprenticeship opportunities to support you in your role and to help you reach your full potential.
Training agreements and access to our apprenticeship levy are also available for training opportunities.
We offer apprenticeships and support teacher training programmes.
Health and Wellbeing
Our overarching health and wellbeing programme, focuses on our employees’ experience. It's committed to creating a culture and environment in which staff feel safe and encouraged to speak about their health and wellbeing so as to access the right support at the right time when they need it.
We offer access to healthcare scheme. From day one this includes access to 24/7 GP and a range of mental health provision including counselling.
We offer employees free eyesight tests or spectacles for VDU use.
We offer access to our occupational health service to support a range of healthcare concerns and reasonable adjustments.
We offer a hub of wellbeing resources, advice and signposting to enable good health and wellbeing self-management.
